James Baldock (1817-1896) who died in Jeparit, Victoria, is my 2nd great grandfather spring from the union of my grandparents Archibald Guest (1866-1932) and Florence Matilda Logan (1890-1968). James is my grandmother's maternal grandfather. Sarah, who is also one of South Australia's early Colony pioneers, is James mother and my 3rd great grandmother. They migrated from Frant Sussex aboard the Orissa to Adelaide disembarking in March, 1840. William, the third Baldock passenger is James elder brother, also the mature aged son of Sarah. James married the Petitioner's 2nd great grandmother in South Australia in 1855, Jane Maria Pratt (1836-1919). They went onto have 11 issue including my great grandmother Maria Baldock (1857-1949) who married my great grandfather, Frederick (Fred) Logan (1857-1921) also having 11 issue including my grandmother. They are all part of a larger family Group extant today in South Australia and also early pioneers of the Colony of Victoria, including the pioneer Guest family of South Australia, Western Victoria and Melbourne. If you would like more information or believe you are related please make contact. Kind regards John LR Guest
