Journey Notes
The ISERBROOK brought 160 German immigrants from Hamburg, and during the voyage there were but
one death. The vessel is the same craft belonging to Godeffroy's Line which has on several occasions
contributed a complement of passengers, and in the majority of instances a quantity of cargo: but the
present trip is in ballast, without even calling at the Cape. The weather is reported to have been generally
favourable, and on making Cape Borda two days only were passed before reaching the Lighthouse
anchorage. (Register 25/9/1865)
