The David McIvor.- Captain Robert Baillie, of this vessel, reports having sailed from Liverpool on the 27th August, with 385 immigrants and portion of a general cargo. Crossed the Equator on the 3rd October, in lat.29°W.; crossed the meridian of Greenwich October 22, in lat.44°20'S.; and doubled Cape Leuwin on November 17, in lat.40°38'S. The weather experienced differs but slightly from that reported by late arrivals; and no occurrence of importance is entered in the ship's log beyond springing the maintopmast in a gale of wind, and speaking on October 1, in lat.2°58'N., long.25°W., the City of Tangore, bound from Glasgow, 36 days out, for Calcutta. I am looking for one of the crew members, George Bowden aged 28 and born in Prince Edward Island, Canada. He may have been travelling with a friend from same place, William Watson about the same age. Any information would be most appreciated.
