Journey Notes

The ship La Rochelle, quite new, was built at Hamburg, and belongs to the same owners as the Iserbrook. She is a fine ship, and has a remarkably clean run. Much contrary weather has been experienced; but so light have been the winds that only three times during the voyage have the topsails been reefed. Only one vessel was spoken during the voyage. July 3rd, in lat.3°17'N., long.20°W., the Hamburg Brig Grassbrook, from Hamburg, bound to Morton Bay, with passengers. Her date of departure was three days previous to that of the La Rochelle.
