Boarded this ship with his Boy Scout Troop 39 from Mt Joy, PA, USA in Quebec,Canada and left July 22,1956. This was after the USA Jamboree that was held at Valley Forge,PA, USA (July 9-20,1956). We had left to attend the Boy Scout World Jubilee Jamboree in England docking at Plymouth Harbor with the tender Sir Richard Grenville guiding them due to a shallow harbor. Jamboree held at Sutton Coldfield Park that we arrived at by train in the dining cars. We met the Queen! We also went to Basel, Lucerne,Zurich of Switzerland, Amsterdam, Utrect of Holland, Cologne and Koblenz, Bad Ems, Frankfrut, Manheim and ,Heidelberg of GR, Paris of FR. Returned home via the M.V. Fairsea. We boarded from Le Harve,FR and set sail for NY,NY,USA on August 26,1956 arriving about midnight September 3 ,1956.
