Journey Notes
The Wellington is laden with general merchandise, and, like the arrival of the previous day, she encountered heavy weather when leaving the Downs. This induced the master to seek shelter under the lee of the Isle of Wight, where she remained wind-bound for several days, but at length sailed on January 8. The pilot who boarded her at the [Port Adelaide] Lightship remained under way during the principal part of the day, and sailed to the Port in company with the Saugeen on the evening's tide.
