Via Melbourne (13 Nov). The Adelaide SS which has had a long spell of enforced idleness during the strike is once more in commission, and on arrival on Thursday she looked as clean and shiny as if just out of the builder's yard. Captain R.Lawrie is still in charge, and he reports leaving Melbourne on the 18th at 5.30 pm., clearing the heads at 9.15, and had light airs to Cape Northunberland, and thence strong southerly winds.
