I was on the Strathnaver for this voyage I am looking for information on the passenger list arriving in Australia April / May 1957 My Mum and Dad are both deceased and I have no paperwork to prove how I got here, I was 4 when we came over and I am applying for a pension soon but it seems my English birth certificate is not good enough to prove who I am and how I got to Australia. I started work in Australia in 1968 aged 15 and have worked and paid taxes all my life, but that cuts no ice with the powers that be, I need to get a copy of my Dads papers as I was listed on them being a minor. Any advice on getting this paperwork would be appreciated Phillip Allan Smith
