In company with the Nil to re-water. Departed (22 July) to whale fisheries, Latham. Vessel returned to Port Lincoln some time after (29 Aug), when Latham was killed by a whale at Memory Cove. On 28 Sept. five deserters were gaoled for a month with hard labour or until they could rejoin the ship.The Reunion arrived at Hobart (4/6 Oct 1840) from a whaling voyage and Port Lincoln with a cargo of oil and bone, Blot master, and returned to Le Havre (12 July 1841).
