Description
William travelled with his brother Edward Prentice Puddy on board the Sir John Lawrence, both were born in Bridgwater Somerset. William returned to England to marry his sweetheart and was never intending on staying in SA, as he promised his sweetheart he would return and marry her. Edward made a live for himself in Wirrabara and married Emily Atkins in 1872.
