"Ketches of South Australia" By R Parsons describes "Hecla" as a 2 masted ketch of 22 tons built in 1903 by T Beauchamop of Birkenhead, SA.  Official number 117421.  An auxilliary engine was fitted in 1915, and the vessel was registered for the first time
