Mr. L. GODDARD

This is my Granddad, Leslie. He's pictured here with my Nan, Lillian aboard the Strathaird on their way to Australia. They also brought their two small children, Julia - 4 and Lesley - 10. Granddad's brother Ron, sailed out two years later aboard the Himalaya. They all lived in the Adelaide Hills for the remainder of their lives. Granddad became a Master Builder and operated a successful business until his death in 1982.
