I’m pretty sure my 4th Great Grandmother came to Australia from England as a 18 year old single woman. I think she ran away with her future husband John Burns / Byrnes , he was Irish living in London so that’s why the name change, I think they ran away together because he was a different religion and a bit older than her, She was Jewish, on her papers I can see she wrote her mother was dead and I can’t make out the father name, she may have also lied about her age
