Passenger vessel "Karoola", built by Harland & Wolff, Belfast in 1909. F.V. Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Albany and Fremantle, 25 September 1909. The vessel was requisitioned as a troopship in May 1915; converted to a hospital ship three months later. She rescued survivors from the "Highland Warrior" aground on the Spanish coast near Cape Ortegal in November 1915. She returned to passenger service in June 1919 and was laid up at Sydney in May 1936 and broken up in Shanghai in 1937.
