The Orient.- The Orient is a very fine ship, and has made a good passage, having accomplished her voyage in 80 days, with very little luck in the shape of fair winds. ... Captain Lawrence informs our reporter that he has made 308 knots in 24 hours; and, with a moderate breeze, she makes 14 to 16 knots an hour with ease. The Orient will most probably get into harbour on Monday next. Register 25/9/1856
