Stephen BRENNAND travelled from London, England on the 'Harbinger', and kept a Diary throughout the voyage, a typescript (micro-fiche) copy of which is held at the National Library of Australia, and in England at Rawtenstall Library, Rossendale, the town from which Stephen set off on his journey.
The handwritten original is lodged at Lancashire Arches, Preston, Lancashire, England.
I am working on a potted family tree to allow Australian researchers to see where Stephen originated, and those in England to see where he ended up in Australia, his marriage and heirs.
Further to my note about STEPHEN BRENNAND and his diary of this voyage: at the NLA, the link to the diary is at 'M977', and the 'tree' may be found at Ancestry.co.uk, searching as Stephen ('Diary') Brennand Family Tree. I would delighted to receive additions/amendments to the tree via Ancestry, please - and will try to keep it amended/up-to-date.
