Journey Notes
The steamer Beltana, from London, arrived early on Wednesday morning, and was taken to a berth in the Outer Harbour to discharge the Adelaide portion of her cargo. The vessel left London on March 10, and called at Capetown on the run to Adelaide. She left the South African port on April 10, and encountered boisterous weather between there and the Semaphore. There were 138 passengers, of whom three only were for Adelaide. One passenger en route fro Capetown to the eastern States, a man named White succumbed during the voyage to phthisis. The steamer is expected to resume her voyage eastward on Saturday. Register 30/4/1914
