The R.M.S.Osterley left Gravesend on November 25, Gibraltar November 29, Marseilles December 1, Naples December 3, Taranto December 5, Port Said December 7, Colombo December 17 and Fremantle at 4.30 p.m. on December 27. The Cape Borda signal station was passed at 2 a.m. on Saturday, and the vessel was off the Semaphore at 9 a.m. and a little more than an hour later was berthed in the Outer Harbour. Favourable weather ruled throughout. At Marseilles 199 bags of mails were shipped, and at Taranto 1,861 bags. A quantity of tea was taken on board at Colombo. The voyage eastward was continued in the afternoon. Register 1/1/1911.
