My grandfather originally enlisted on the 7 June 2015 under his correct name Godfrey Leslie Metcalfe and then deserted from Puckapunyal. He then decided to re-enlist and had to use a different name to do so and so enlisted as Leslie Medcalfe which was his name for his military records. A letter from army records of the 29 September 1919 shows him as having arrived in Australia on the 14 July 1919 on the H.T. "Rio-Pardo".
