1962

As a family of 5, my Dad and Mum and brother and sister travelled as ten pound Poms from England in 1962. We arrived in October to a cold wet day in Port Adelaide. I thought as a child I’d be arriving to a beach with kangaroos and sunshine! We enjoyed our adventures on our trip and learnt a lot about different countries along the way. We have lived in Adelaide since that time. I would like to know what date the Orcades left England it was sometime in late September but have no prof of this.
