The City of Singapore was towed by two steamtugs of the sea going tugboat company Wijsmuller in April 11 1924 with the Willem Barendsz and the Vlaanderen. They arrived at Rotterdam on 31 august where it would be repaired at the Rotterdam drydock company. The sailed a distance over more then 13.000 miles.
